Our program for the evening will be presented by Christine Whitlatch, Executive Director of the Glendive Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture. Christine will give us an update on what’s new and exciting in Glendive these days.

We are inviting other women’s groups to our April meeting. Peggy Iba will be presenting information about the Greater Glendive Community Foundation plans to “beautify” Glendive and what our women’s groups could do to help with that project. All AAUW members please bring a nibble to share with our special guests! We will have plates, napkins, glasses there. We could also use a few more bottles of wine.

Our program for the evening will be presented by DCHS Principal, Wade Murphy. Wade will talk about sexual harassment policies in the schools and possibly other items of interest. (John Bole from DCC had hoped to join us, too, but he will be out of town, so can’t come.) The program will be first on our evening agenda, so please try to come promptly at 7:00, since the program will start soon after that time!

Our program for the evening will be presented by County Superintendent of Schools, Steve Engebretson. Steve will talk about Charter schools – local laws, schools in existence, failures, successes. He can also touch on some allied topics such as legislation for tax dollars to other schools such as home schoolers. Steve is currently chair of the MT county superintendents’ organization. The program will be first on our evening agenda, so please try to come promptly at 7:00, since the program will start soon after that time!
